Certificate in Embodied Counselling

The Certificate in Embodied Counselling is an in-depth training certifying you to be an Embodied Counselling Practitioner, skilled in working somatically, intentionally and relationally to effectively support clients in navigating the issues and challenges they are experiencing, and growing into their potential for vibrant, embodied, connected, meaningful living.

The multifaceted curriculum creatively engages students in personal and professional development. Students learn and integrate through practicing embodied counselling skills, engaging in continuous somatic practice, receiving embodied counselling sessions, as well as reflection, support, theoretical review, somatic research, extensive client work, supervision and feedback.

To ensure quality and personal attention, the training is kept to a small group of up to 12 to 16 students.

We form a supportive learning community, engaging with each other for somatic practice and research, sharing ideas and support.

The Introductory Certificate in Embodied Counselling is a prerequisite for the Certificate in Embodied Counselling.

The Certificate program builds on the Introductory Certificate, expanding on key skill and content areas, as we go on a deep journey of discovery of self and mastery as an Embodied Counselling Practitioner.

I felt really resourced, but also constantly fascinated by different tools that we were working with.

It was incredible. It felt life changing. I felt so much care.

There was a deep sense of care and acceptance. That felt really radical for me to experience that in a course.

What I noticed is how much that course kept me in my process and in my body. It’s like an anchor.
