What is supervision?
Supervision is an ongoing professional support relationship that helping practitioners engage in, in order to improve their practice, get support and grow professionally. It is a requirement for many professional associations, such as somatic sex educators and counsellors, allowing practitioners to be in a process of learning and support throughout their career, but also to be accountable within their field, ensuring a duty of care for clients.
