Deej

Deej CSB, M.A.

Deej is a leader in the fields of somatic education and embodied counselling. His work supports clients to mobilize their capacities for growth, learning and change.

He supports the development of somatic work in Australia and internationally through professional trainings for embodied counsellors and somatic sex educators, and professional supervision for people who work, or want to work, somatically.

Deej has over 20 years experience in adult education, teacher training, embodied counselling and various forms of bodywork. He was the founding president of the Somatic Sex Educators’ Association of Australasia, and is a co-director of the Institute of Somatic Sexology. He was awarded Somatic Sex Educator of the Year for 2016 at the Sexual Freedom Awards in London.

Ellen

Ellen Heed Ph.D.

Ellen Heed offers Sexological Bodywork students lessons in postpartum sexuality, smooth muscle massage, functional anatomy, erectile tissue discoveries in women, and scar tissue remediation. She has spent over 10,000 hours as a bodyworker and nutritional consultant, and holds certifications as a Sexological Bodyworker, Shiatsu Specialist, Craniosacral Therapist, and Facia Manipulation Specialist. She is also an international teacher of human anatomy and a yoga teacher.

Uma

Uma Ayelet Furman CSB

Uma Ayelet Furman, CSB is one of Australasia’s leading somatic sex educators, with many years of experience working with individuals, people in relationships, and groups. Uma has innovated somatic sex education through her grounded breaking work in client-centred practice.

Based in Brisbane, Australia, Uma works internationally, specializing in supporting people to work somatically through sexual issues and concerns.

Betty

Betty Martin Ph.D.

Dr. Martin has had her hands on people professionally for over 30 years. First as a Chiropractor, and later as a Body Electric School trained Sacred Intimate, Certified Sexological Bodyworker, and Foundations of Facilitation trainer.

Therapeutic training includes Chiropractic, Somato-Respiratory Integration, Educational Kinesiology, Reiki, Neuro-Emotional Integration. In more recent years, her erotic education has included included sensual massage, Taoist Erotic Massage, Kashmiri tantric massage and Sexological Bodywork.

Joseph

Joseph Kramer Ph.D.

Joseph Kramer, Ph.D., is the foremost teacher of erotic bodywork in the world. In 1984, he founded the Body Electric School in Oakland, California, where he trained thousands of professional massage therapists, erotic bodyworkers and somatic educators. In 1992, he started the Erospirit Research Institute, a think tank exploring the connection between spirituality and sexuality. He has also created two online schools offering trainings in erotic bodywork and erotic yoga- The New School of Erotic Touch and The Orgasmic Yoga Institute.

Kenneth

Kenneth Ray Stubbs Ph.D.

In 1975 Ray began teaching erotic massage to people of all sexual orientations in San Francisco. His 1989 Erotic Massage — the Touch of Love book was the first instructional book to illustrate genital massage and has sold over a million copies worldwide.

He has taught many somatic modalities and has written/created over a dozen books and DVDs on sacred sexuality including Women of the Light: The New Sacred Prostitute, Sacred Orgasms, and The Essential Tantra. He also co-created the 90-minute documentary The Sacred Prostitute and a recent documentary, Path of the Sexual Shaman: Teachings on Energy, Orgasm, and Wisdom. Ray is the former vice-president of the Association of Sexual Energy Professionals.
